Little Axe live on BBC Radio 2

Paul Jones' BBC Radio 2 show 'Rhythm and Blues' featured three songs from a live session by Skip 'Little Axe' McDonald and his band in the program on Thursday November 25, 2004.

If you missed the broadcast of 'Rhythym and Blues', it will be available as 'on demand audio stream' on the site of the show (click on the link above) for a week (untill December 2 2004).

Paul Jones chose three tracks for his program: 'Never Turn Back', 'Finger on the Trigger' (from the new album 'Champagne and Grits') and 'Too Late'. 'Splendid stuff', says Jones, who is a great admirer of Skip McDonald, who 'invented himself more often than David Bowie'.

The Little Axe line-up: Skip McDonald (guitar, vocals and electronics), Mark Cresswell (guitar), Lee Graham (bass) and Andy Marshall (drums).
